Dr. Laura Rasche

Dr. Laura Rasche

Veterinarian

Dr. Rasche was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. She grew up working at the Georgia Aquarium, where her love for animals was sparked, especially for those with fins. She is a proud “Double Dawg” as she attended the University of Georgia for both undergraduate and veterinary school. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree double majoring in Biology and Marine Sciences. Throughout vet school, she loved getting experience with a diverse array of species, including working with dolphins, birds, reptiles, and fish. Working with these unique animals showed her the importance of animal husbandry and educating owners on how to best take care of their loved ones, no matter if they have fur, fins, scales, or wings.

After graduating from vet school, she realized she needed to be closer to the ocean and found her way to Tampa. She has a sassy one-eyed Shih tzu named Lila.

In her free time, Dr. Rasche enjoys scuba diving, going to the beach, trying all the fabulous restaurants of Tampa, and traveling the world.
